YESTERDAY MASS
symphonic rock from Finland

Yesterday Mass is a Symphonic Hard Rock band based in Finland.
The group consists of two members:
lyricist Iiro Kinnula, with roots in the world of Metal music, and from the Rock music world, composer Ace Eshed, veteran performer who has experimented with many genres over the years.
Bringing these two scenes together, Yesterday Mass combines a core of Hard Rock with elements of Symphonic Metal and more, in an effort to create a fresh and impactful sound that pays homage to the past while creating something new.
Yesterday Mass have released three singles from their debut album ‘No Control‘.
‘I Know You’:
‘I Know You‘ is a different take on the classic idea of a love song, with lyrics that tell a story of support rather than longing.
A song about knowing the other person, understanding them, and giving them the encouragement they need to get through the hardships in life.
The vocals on the track are performed by the Italian talent, Alessandro ‘Hell‘ Medri.
‘No Control’:
‘No Control‘ is an atmospheric Rock song about accepting the fact that life is unpredictable and that both bad and good things happen to us which are beyond our control, and about trusting that, even when things start looking bleak, the future will eventually bring new chances and brighter days.
The vocals on the track are performed by the talented Chilean singer and musician, Fran Fuzz.
The track also includes a string quartet.
‘Take My Hand’:
‘Take My Hand‘ is a progressive, six plus-minute Symphonic Hard Rock epic featuring a string quartet on top of a Rock band base.
The lyrics of the song were inspired by fantasy stories, in particular the ‘Hero’s journey‘ – trope and how the journey itself ends up changing the hero.
The vocals are also performed by the talented Italian singer, Alessandro ‘Hell‘ Medri.
The musical production of the songs is by the rising producer from Azerbaijan, Asim Rahimov.
The performance and arrangement of the strings is by the talented Romanian violinist, Alexandru Semeniuc.
