The LA-based alternative rock/emo band True North released their latest single ‘Still Enough’.
‘Still Enough’ stands out as a hook-laden alternative rock anthem, deeply exploring self-worth in relationships.
The track is a product of a collaborative effort between the band and KJ Strock, a renowned songwriter, and producer known for his work with prominent names in the rock and alternative music scene, including Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Wolves, Crown The Empire, and Honey Revenge.
Remarkably, the song’s essence was captured in a single studio session, maintaining its authenticity from initial conception to final production.
Vocalist Tim describes ‘Still Enough’ as a “sarcastic epiphany”, portraying the struggles of someone in an abusive relationship, obsessed with the idea of never being enough.
However, rather than dwelling in despair, the song conveys a message of realization and empowerment, urging listeners to understand their worth and right to be cared for.
Inspired by the mid-2000s rock and modern pop scene, they continue to make an indelible mark in the rock scene with their emotionally resonant music and sleek, dark branding.
‘Still Enough’ is more than a song;
it’s a statement – a proof of True North’s commitment to evolving their music while staying true to their roots, encapsulating their commitment to producing memorable melodies and emotionally charged music.
