Swiss extreme metal outfit Triumph Of Death carries the unmistakable legacy of Thomas Gabriel Fischer, better known as Tom Warrior, a pioneering figure whose work with Hellhammer and Celtic Frost helped shape the foundations of extreme metal.
With Triumph Of Death, and its connection to Triptykon, Fischer turns his attention toward a darker and uncompromising musical vision, revisiting the raw intensity of his early work while giving it a powerful contemporary presence.
‘Resurrection Of The Flesh‘, released via Napalm Records, captures that vision in its most visceral environment, the live stage.
Rather than functioning simply as a document of past material, the twelve track live album presents Triumph Of Death as an intense and commanding force, with crushing low end, ominous riffs, atmospheric textures, and Fischer’s unmistakable harsh vocals combining to create an experience that feels both primitive and immense.
