Canadian trio The Jailbirds has released a new EP with 5 tracks and is called ‘High Moon‘.
The EP kicks off with their last single ‘Take Me Away‘ and includes their single ‘Tokyo Smoke‘.
The guys have decided to release the last track on the EP ‘Our Time‘ as their new single, which is a much heavier brooding number, but has the same killer vocals and guitar from Mykel Penney.
A 3-piece force of nature, The Jailbirds are a band you must see live.
Not long after the release of their debut EP, ‘The Black River’, the band was nominated for and won ‘Best Rock‘ at the 2018 Mississauga Music Awards and since then, won ‘Best Live Band‘ at the 2022 MM Awards.
The Jailbirds have drawn comparisons to the likes of Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Deep Purple, Monster Truck, Royal Blood and other such bands.
They have molded the rock genre into something entirely their own with their blend of classic rock, modern rock, grunge and popular music.
Off the back of their 2021 concept EP ‘Jungle’ and recent singles from their forth coming release, The Jailbirds have been featured on FM radio, Top Spotify Curated Playlists (such as Hard Rock/Rock Faves/Best Rock 2020) & online publications globally such as BRAVEWORDS and Guitar World Magazine.
The guys have received public praise from some big names in rock such as Todd ‘Dammit‘ Kerns (Slash, Age of Electric), 102.1 The Edge’s Octavia Allison, Jon Harvey of Monster Truck and more.
