Female fronted portuguese (Lisbon) blues rock power house has released album ‘A Light In The Darkness‘.
Earlier on in 2025 they had also released single ‘A Price For My Soul‘.
This song is also the lead track from the album, with a stripped back heavy blues sound and with plenty of slide guitar from new guitarist, Ricardo Galrao.
Of course to mention is the powerhouse vocals of Sandrine Orsini – a woman, that is baring her soul on every track.
The band never fails to keep banging out some fantastic music, it`s to be hoped that now, they can reach more people that appreciate their music.

The Bateleurs are back with new music in 2025.
‘For All To See‘ is the advance Single for the up-coming album ‘A Light In The Darkness‘, scheduled for release later this year.
The band went through a major line-up change, with the departure of the guitarist Marco Reis and the addition of Ricardo Galrao to fill his role.
Rehearsals and recordings were done in January and February 2025 and the new record is definitely a leap forward on The Bateleurs sound and aesthetics.
‘For All To See‘ is a song about the life on the road, playing music, sharing dreams and loving every moment of it.
It features two guests, Tiago Maia on slide guitar and Nuno Louro on Hammond organ.
In 2024 The Bateleurs had released also single/video ‘City Of Lights‘.
This video was the last video from the album ‘The Sun In The Tenth House‘, one of the most meaningful songs and fan favorite, portraying the struggles of being away from home to pursuit a better life.
Filmed in Paris, it’s a tale of sadness and reilience, and ultimately an ode to the singer’s hometown.
Directed by Nico Guedes, and with art direction by Kikka de Codda, it’s a time travel tale that captures the essence of the song.
