‘Lost The Reason’
‘Lost The Reason‘ is the poignant new release from Kent (UK) artist Steve Hewitt and the impassioned centrepiece of his upcoming new studio album.
Resonating with Folk Pop, Alt-Country and Americana overtones, ‘Lost The Reason‘ explores the realisation of a friendship and fraternal bond, broken by the violation of another’s trust and for selfish motives.
This heart-rending ballad flows along eloquently, simply enabling Hewitt’s distinctive voice and melodic acoustic guitar arrangements to shine centre stage.
The emotional depth of the track is also tastefully enhanced by vocal harmonies and cello phrasings from Miriam Cox.
Accompanying the release, Steve’s official music video was filmed on England’s White Cliffs of Dover by videographer Oliver James Seager and content creator Ginger Mafro.
The enduring British musician owes his alchemic song-writing approach to the diverse influences that help shape his creativity.

‘Lost The Reason‘ is the second single from his new and acoustic-centric 11 track album ‘Never Two Days The Same‘, produced by his collaborative ally Paul West.
