SAM WATKINS

Nashville Recording Artist Sam Watkins who has been and is featured in Canvas Rebel Magazine and others throughout the years.
He has two original songs that were recorded on music row and are now being played on radio stations and podcasts worldwide.
Raised in Central Texas on Waylon Jennings and Elvis’ Country side, Sam Watkins learned to sing at age 6, learned to play guitar at age 12 and began writing and enhancing his craft at the age of 18 in Austin, Texas where he was influenced by the western swing stylings of George Strait and Asleep At The Wheel.
In 2006 he met and partnered with a former model and modeling agent Tina Reza (now Tina Watkins) and together they created Sam Watkins Country to manage Sam’s music, recorded a 12 song CD of Sam’s original songs and the rest, as they say, is music history.
Now they are married and actively promote singer-songwriters, artists and bands through ITNS Radio & SWC, LLC., the company ‘By Musicians For Musicians’ and, as they love to say,
“Don’t Just Be A Music Lover Be A Music Supporter.”
Sam Watkins is an accomplished Texas Singer/Songwriter who has been road tested and is highly committed to his music career which has spanned more than two decades.
He has performed in festivals and large events and is used to large audiences.
He also, aside from his original material, has a catalog of several hundred cover songs with a variety of genres.
His main genre is Americana as he has many styles which show in his songwriting and in his performances.
Sam has always loved many different styles of music, while showing his roots much respect, with a wide range of influences:
George Strait, Alan Jackson, Waylon and Willie and SRV to name a few.
He always shows his fans love too playing some old favorites and some more modern tunes.
