‘Worldkiller’
a single from
Finnish hard rock band
RIMBACHER

composed & lyrics by Niko Rimbacher
Finnish Aussie rock influenced turbocharged hard rock band Rimbacher serves their stadium-grade 80’s glam with an unabashed attitude.
The band that consists of professional musicians had released their debut full length album ‘High Hopes On The Rocks‘ on November 1st 2024 via Inverse Records.
The ‘Worldkiller‘ is a high-octane, cascading aesthetic that brings the explosive feel of the Sunset Strip stylishly into this millennium.
The song is a critique of the moulds of modern society and the power brokers who promote the destruction of the world.
Singer Niko Rimbacher backgrounds:
“The narrator of this piece refuses to go into the moulds that social conservatives try to put people in. The song emphasises individualism and thinking with your own brain. All beauty is lost when those in power destroy the world under the guise of their own interests.”
The band doesn’t hide its influences, nor does it keep its raucous guitar heroics under wraps.
In addition to the two solo guitarists, Niko, a singer known as a multi-instrumentalist, has also decided to play guitar.
Bassist Reisca Morani:
“The song’s rhythmic dynamics resemble a lot of RATT and the energy bursts between the sections nicely. The catch phrase of the chorus hooks the listener on the spot! A funny thing about the recording of the song was that although we have two great guitarists in our band, Jim and Osku, the main guitar solo of this song is played by Niko himself. He had a great vision for the solo, so why not!”
The album features the tasty singles ‘Chasing Ghosts’, ‘Cocaine Eyes & Nicotine Stains‘, ‘Last Breath Of Rock ‘n’ Roll‘ and ‘Loving You (Is Loving A Broken)‘, showcasing the band’s recognisable but delightfully diverse output.
With a reputation as a tight and fierce but professional live band, Rimbacher has won over rock fans over the past year as opener for Michael Monroe’s Demolition 23 and on many Finnish festivals.

‘Last Breath Of Rock ‘N’ Roll’

Composed: Niko Rimbacher
Lyrics: Tatu Reijonen
Arrangement: Rimbacher
‘Last Breath Of Rock ‘N’ Roll’ is a retrospective to the moment when you heard Rock music for the first time.
Rimbacher is a band from central Finland that has built it’s foundations to traditional 80’s rock music.
During spring 2022 the band has released couple of singles from their upcoming debut album.
“Cocaine Eyes & Nicotine Stains” introduce the hybrid sound of Aussie Rock and 80’s Hair Rock, heavily riffing “Chasing Ghosts” and catchy rock anthem “Loving You (Is Loving A Broken)”.
“‘Last Breath of Rock ‘N’ Roll’ represents the style of music that was my first personal touch to Rock music. This song is about the spontanious reaction that young guy felt when he listened to Rock music for the first time. So we made really rough and stripped song out of it – a tribute to the deepest essence of Rock. So raise your fist in the air and move your head!”
singer Niko Rimbacher enthusiastically tells.
“Even as the track title refers to the ending of life the whole idea is actually the opposite. It’s about how to fill the huge gap that the current rock legends will leave after retiring and leaving the field open. And how to respect that heritage with total dedication”
bass player and lyricist Reisca Morani continues.
The band also releases a music video that is built from the footage filmed on the Rimbacher shows.
