REVOLUTION RABBIT DELUXE
will release single
‘Tim Gurner Says’
Revolution Rabbit Deluxe are:
Rev Rabbit – lead vocals, guitars
Lee Titterrel – drums
Tim Lawley – bass
Max Perera – lead guitars
Revolution Rabbit Deluxe charge onwards the release of their blistering new single and video, ‘Tim Gurner Says‘, which arrives everywhere on Friday 6th December, 2024.
Hailing from Blackwood, Wales, Revolution Rabbit Deluxe sprung into life in 2019, and ever since then, the spiky post-punkers have hurled out a barrage of killer cuts that are not only massively appealing but also politically challenging.
Drawing from the lyricism of XTC and Billy Bragg, and the musical guile of Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, and fellow countrymen Manic Street Preachers, Revolution Rabbit Deluxe have the deft ability to merge stunning melodies with alluring indie sensibilities and brash punky nuances.
Comprised of enigmatic frontman Rev Rabbit (guitar and lead vocals), Tim Lawley (bass), Max Perera (lead guitars and backing vocals), and Lee Titterrel (drums), the engulfing quartet have released five albums to date:
‘Tales From Armaggedonsville‘,
‘Swipe Left‘,
‘Myths and Fables‘,
and their highly acclaimed recent records:
‘The Great Divide‘ and
‘Control Freaks‘,
which were released on the now defunct SWND Records.
The band have extensively toured throughout the UK, racking up regular airplay from BBC, as well as picking up widespread independent radio and online exposure.
Next up for the lively four-piece is the release of their innovative new single, ‘Tim Gurner Says‘, which unleashes dynamic and driven drums, hard-hitting guitars, thunderous bass, and highly contagious vocal lines.
Vocalist and guitarist, Rev Rabb remarks that the track is:
“Motivated by the Aussie Billionaire who said we should all be on the dole to appreciate work more. Recorded by ex-Skindred Jeff Rose, this angry little rocker advises Gurner to keep his nonsense to himself. We don’t need lifestyle advice from someone who wants to take everything for himself.”
As well as a mesmerising new single and video, Revolution Rabbit Deluxe have also just signed to Bad Monkey Records, and they will release their sixth album in 2025.
Next year will be an epic one for the band as there is no stopping their ascent.
