We hope it’ll inspire you to fight your very own battles. Many thanks to our sound engineer Loukas Lymberis and Chris Ventouras for making it real. We would like to thank Fotis Chatzis. You know why…. we still owe you a piglet dinner. Alex Cardenas thanks a lot for your big support!”
RATTLESQUAD
a Greek hard rock quartet
Rattlesquad is a hard (….and blues rooted) rocking band from Athens, Greece.
Rattlesquad is a band of feisty Rock n’ Roll die-hards.
Soaring soulful vocals, big and fiery guitars, a heavy yet groovy rhythm section, all catered by four guys who have something to say – preferably in a big, loud live stage.
Originally formed in the summer of 2019, when bassist and songwriter Angelos Papangelou started jamming with drummer William V. Baldo.
Rattlesquad were soon joined by vocalist and lyricist Greg Acontides.
While the world was too busy breaking down (cheers COVID-19) the boys got to work, letting everyone know that they are pissed off:
living in a state of constant crisis, being bombarded by thousands of ‘smart’ notifications, were just some of the fuel to kick start the fire of riffs and lyrics that became Rattlesquad’s songbook.
The Squad’s line-up was complete in the spring of 2022, with the addition of guitarist and songwriter Johnny Free.
Soon enough, the band found themselves ready to record and produce their debut album.
Keen to capture the raw, pumping energy and emotion that defines their live sound, the band went through an array of creative decisions:
Gone was the comfort of recording instruments separately, the safety net of click tracks and the ease of applying auto-tuning.
All these modern-day recording conveniences were traded in for the inimitable sonic assault of a hard rock band performing live in the same room.
This is all about excitement and organic sounds with natural flow.
Rattlesquad are proud and excited to announce the full release of their debut album at the end of the summer.
