International heavy metal force Primal are strengthening their connection with the Latin American metal scene through the release of ‘Fin De Los Tiempos‘ (End Times), a special compilation album aimed at the Mexican market.
Issued through Old Skull Records, the CD serves both as a celebration of the band’s journey so far and as a statement of intent for what lies ahead.
Rather than simply repackaging old material, ‘Fin De Los Tiempos‘ brings together some of the strongest moments from Primal’s previous releases – ‘Primal‘, ‘Humachine‘ and ‘Iron Age‘ – capturing the band’s signature blend of classic heavy metal power, aggressive riffing and relentless energy.
The compilation highlights the raw spirit that has earned Primal a loyal international following, while also introducing the band to a wider audience in Mexico, where they are actively seeking opportunities to bring their music to the stage.
Primal’s line-up reads like a meeting of underground metal royalty.
Fronted by legendary vocalist Alberto Zamarbide, the band also features drummer Jorge Iacobellis, guitarist Glenn Rogers, and bassist Cesar Ceregatti.
Together, they channel decades of heavy metal history into a sound that feels both traditional and fiercely alive.
The release of ‘Fin De Los Tiempos‘ also arrives during an especially active period for the band.
Primal are currently in talks with Hightree Booking and Management regarding a series of European shows, including performances planned in the Netherlands for November 2026.
At the same time, the group has already begun working on new material for an upcoming studio album, signaling that this compilation is not a retrospective ending, but the beginning of another chapter.
What continues to set Primal apart is their ability to merge old-school heavy metal tradition with the intensity of modern extreme music.
Their songs are built on thunderous rhythms, razor-sharp guitar work and commanding vocals, yet there is also a sense of authenticity running through everything they do – the sound of musicians who have lived and breathed metal for decades.
With ‘Fin De Los Tiempos‘, Primal are not only revisiting the strongest moments of their catalog, but also expanding their reach into one of the world’s most passionate metal communities.
And judging by the band’s growing momentum, Mexico may only be the next step in a much larger campaign.
