The rock music landscape is about to be shaken once again by Panicwaves, as they proudly announce the release of their debut EP ‘Roots’ coupled with their new single and music video ‘Blessing’.
This release marks a significant milestone in the band’s rapidly ascending career, following a year of remarkable achievements and artistic growth.
Since their debut single, the band has captured the hearts of modern and hard rock enthusiasts and has been on an unstoppable trajectory.
Followed by a Germany tour with Future Palace, the band went all out.
Since October ‘22, the band has been under contract with Monster Artist Management and Easthaven Records and has since released four more singles called ‘Second’, ‘Twisted’, ‘Fire’ and ‘Promise’.
Their music, characterized by its unique blend of influences from bands like Normandie, Northlane, and The Intersphere, has resonated with fans across genres, offering a fresh and distinct sound in the rock scene.
In the words of the band, ‘Blessing’ is more than a song;
it’s a wake-up call to all those confined by conservative lifestyles handed down to them.
It’s an anthem for the unspoken dreams and hidden talents that lie dormant across the globe.
“The EP’s final track, ‘Blessings’, depicts the loss of dreams and independence due to the influence of others in determining someone’s life. With the phrase ‘I found bliss in solitude’, I wanted to describe how an individual can literally lose interest in all their goals because of the fates bestowed upon them by their parents, ancestors, and society. There are probably thousands upon thousands of hidden talents across the globe that will never get the chance to even scratch the surface. This song aims to serve as a wake-up call to all individuals who are afflicted by the conservative lifestyles they have been given. Think about this for a second: Is this really what you wanted or what they wanted?”
Panicwaves invites fans and new listeners alike to dive into the powerful messages and dynamic soundscapes of ‘Roots’ and to find their own awakening in ‘Blessing’.
