Painted Scars is a brand new heavy hitting hard rock band that was fully formed in April 2023.
They recorded their first single ‘Life and Alive‘ in July 2023.
The single was recorded at home by the band members and sent to an audio engineer in Germany for mixing and mastering.
It received very positive reviews by local magazines and social media outlets.
As a try-out show, they organized a mini festival ‘Scarfest‘ in their home base in Erpe-Mere, Belgium.
The festival took place in August 2023.
The show, being a great success, triggered a series of follow up shows in the same year.
The band is known for their high energy show that leaves first timers with a deep impression.
Heavy riffs and blazing guitar solos, combined with melodic choruses provide the crowd with a mix of head banging and sing along moments.
Painted Scars released their highly anticipated debut EP ‘Kintsugi‘ at the second edition of Scarfest.
This festival, hosted in their hometown of Erpe-Mere, Belgium, was not only featured a high-energy performance from the band but also celebrate the culmination of their hard work and musical evolution.
‘Kintsugi‘ delivered heavy riffs, blazing guitar solos, and melodic choruses that fans love, solidifying Painted Scars’ place in the hard rock scene.
Besides the album Painted Scars released also singles ‘Freedom‘, ‘Liquid Gold‘.

Inspired by a close friend of the band who contributed to the lyrics, the song resonates with authenticity and raw emotion.
