Finnish groove/thrash metal band Falling From Grace has released album ‘At The Adge‘ via Inverse Records.
The theme of the album revolves around the title, as it explores the mindset of a person who has been pushed to the edge mentally, with no way out.
The lyrics, as usual, touch on the darker side of life, but also address the current state of the world.
The compositions on the album are somewhat darker than those on the previous release, ‘Shattered‘.
There is also a song on the album, titled ‘The Creator‘, which is a bit different from the band’s usual style.
Falling From Grace’s characteristic energy and aggression are also present on this release.
At The Edge combines various genres of metal, with a focus on groove metal and melodic death metal.
The songwriting is once again handled by the band’s guitarist Timi Tonteri.
Nils Courbaron (Sirenia, Bloodorn, T.A.N.K.) is featuring on the album’s last track ‘The Creator‘.
“With At The Edge, we’ve taken a step forward from the last album and incorporated elements we haven’t used before. The timing of the album release is perfect, with Tuska Festival just around the corner, where we will also perform.”

The Finnish groove-thrash metal group Falling From Grace released a new grooving single ‘Final Hour’.
The track is taken from the upcoming second studio album ‘At The Edge’ which is set to be release later in 2024 via Inverse Records.

Finnish groove-thrash metal band Falling From Grace is set to release their second studio album ‘At The Edge’ later in 2023 via Inverse Records.
The second single ‘Shadow’ has been released.

“‘Shadow’s lyrics are continuation for the song ‘The Abyss’. It’s about the shadow in our life, from the first breath to our last. What is this ‘entity’ doing in our lives? Is it something ominous and supernatural or is it other personality that hides deep in our minds?”

Finnish groove-thrash metal group Falling From Grace will release their second studio album, ‘At The Edge’, later in 2023 via Inverse Records.
The first single and music video, ‘The Abyss’, has been released.
The band comments:
“The Abyss has gotten its inspiration from sleep paralysis that many have told to feel a dark presence with them. You can feel that there is something in there, but you can’t see it physically. Is this only a trick of the mind, or is there something evil and dark in there with us when we can only lie down and not move at all?”
‘Falling From Grace’ is a groove-trash metal band from Finland, formed in 2013.
Their influences come from genres like groove metal, thrash metal, death metal, metalcore, etc.
As such, their music strikes the hearts of many metalheads.
This five-man band always plays their gigs with 110% attitude, leaving no one in the crowd cold.
Falling From Grace has released;
the EP ‘Shadows of the Past'(2014), singles ‘Poseur'(2016), ‘Reflection'(2020), ‘Break Your Neck'(2020), ‘In The Lies Where We Stand'(2021) and an album ‘Shattered'(2021).
Falling From Grace is writing a new album titled ‘At The Edge’, which is planed to be released at the end of 2023.
