Bristol based indie rock band Saint Celebrity are back with their 5th single ‘True Say’.
Previous singles ‘Shy’ and ‘Over U’ were both featured tracks of the week on BBC Radio Bristol and were played numerous times across the station.
This brand new track debuted as an acoustic rendition on the station and was so well received that they decided to record it as a single.
the band:
‘After the positive feedback from the acoustic version. We took the track to our producing partner Matt O’Grady (YouMeAtSix, Deaf Havana) to elevate this song to new heights!’
‘True say’ is an indie-rock song about the infatuation you feel for someone whom you want to spend all your time with.
With melodic synths, pounding drums, and classic punk-pop guitars, Saint Celebrity invites you to the dance party of ‘True Say’.
‘True Say’ is slated for release on 9th December 2022.
Saint Celebrity are a four piece rock band hailing from the city of Bristol. Their fierce guitar hooks lash over punchy rhythm guitars and pounding drums to deliver a storm of anthemic rock.
The vocals croon and crunch about unexpected romance amid the chaos of British nightlife.
Establishing a flourishing partnership with gold awarded producer and engineer Matt O’Grady (You Me At Six, Don Broco, Deaf Havana),
from their debut single, ‘Shy’, to their latest release ‘Over U’, Saint Celebrity are pushing the boundaries of sound and style within the independent rock world.
To date the band has played a number of sell out headline shows and have released 4 singles, each with a unique sound within the indie rock genre, on all major streaming services.
Debut single ‘SHY’ established Saint Celebrity as Artist of the Week on BBC RADIO BRISTOL, and all songs released since have featured on the platform.
This summer the band was invited into BBC radio to play a live acoustic set of original songs for a full week, and they received a great response
from both the station as well as audiences!
With an eclectic style spanning from 80s pop ballad to all out punk rock, Saint Celebrity are sure to crossover to fans of all alternative genres.
Illustrate Magazine:
