Hamburg glam and sleaze metal outfit Night Laser have unveiled ‘Heart Of The Desert Rose‘, the first glimpse of their forthcoming fifth studio album, ‘Rats In The Cradle‘, scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, via Steamhammer/Open.
Arriving two years after the band’s acclaimed fourth album, ‘Call Me What You Want‘, and following extensive European touring alongside Axel Rudi Pell, the new single reflects a period of musical growth and renewed confidence.
Those experiences have helped shape an album that the band describes as its most diverse work to date, expanding its trademark blend of hard rock and glam metal with influences ranging from blues and funk to classic rock, without losing its energetic identity.
‘Heart Of The Desert Rose‘ reveals a different side of Night Laser.
Rather than delivering an all-out rock anthem, the band opts for a blues-infused power ballad that celebrates strength, love, courage, hope, and resilience.
Dedicated to women who continue to move forward despite adversity, the song carries a message of perseverance while maintaining the emotional intensity that has become a hallmark of the band’s songwriting.
