Harvesting influence from icons such as The Used and My Chemical Romance through to contemporary artists like Knocked Loose and Trash Boat, NEVERSAID have the music, style and voice to be one of the breakthrough artists of 2024.
Ever since their formation in 2020, the energetic pop-punkers have graced stages throughout the UK, and in turn have supported the likes of Hawthorne Heights, Novustory, Black Foxxes and Dream State.
So far, the band has also unleashed three successful singles, 2021’s ‘Braindead’ , ‘Brave’ and last year’s ‘Ghost’ , as well as their debut EP, ‘Getting Better’ .
All releases secured noted media acclaim and have assisted with NEVERSAID’s rise.
A recent switch in personnel has seen Jordan Hibbert join the crew on guitar and Koda Boyce take over on bass, and this has reaped great rewards by not only widening the band’s diversity, but also it’s potent dynamism.
The trio is now ripe to break with the release of their upcoming EP, ‘Bond Over Blood’.
Lead vocalist, Logan Samuel, remarks about the motivation behind the single:
“These songs are among some of the angriest we’ve ever written, lyrically drawing from pain and disfunction within various relationships in my life. Sonically, the EP blends various elements of emo, pop-punk and hardcore, resulting in a raw and emotional collection of tracks.”
With rampant shows and festivals planned for this year, stay tuned to the band’s social sites for constant updates.

‘Ghost’ is not an average song.
It’s a deep dive into the murky waters of human emotions and the tangled mess of relationships.
Penned in the waning days of 2022, this track tells a story of someone emotionally checking out of a relationship long before it officially ends.
With a chorus that grabs your heart and a biting final line,
‘I want to watch you give up like I did’,
it’s a musical rollercoaster of feelings.
Drawing inspiration from the golden age of early 2000s emo, Neversaid channels the spirits of iconic acts like My Chemical Romance and The Used.
But they don’t stop there – their sound also vibes with the modern energy of bands like Trash Boat and Holding Absence.
The result?
A post-hardcore anthem that pays tribute to its roots while blazing a trail of its own.
Neversaid isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
They boldly declare,
“Happy music is overrated”
and ‘Ghost’ is proof of that.
It’s a song that lays bare the raw emotions we usually keep hidden.
