WJOE – Findlay’s Home for Rock & Roll:
“The new album ‘Beautiful Disaster’ from Lily Löwe is almost here and set for a Feb. 6th release date. Along the way leading up to the album have been a string of razor sharp singles and perhaps here comes the best one yet, the fierce and moving ‘Love Like This’. Lowe’s vocals pour out the emotion while also bursting with power and a backdrop of heavy rock. ‘Love Like This’ is exceptional modern rock with lyrics, vocals and deep hooks that will have you locked in from the start. Catch tracks from Lily Lowe on your Home for the Best New Rock…”
Norway Rock Magazine:
“Löwe has a voice with power, punch, and attitude.”
Metalhead Community:
“The Löwe album is one of those examples [of music that just sounds right].”

There is a certain kind of confidence that only comes from knowing exactly who you are – and on their upcoming sophomore album ‘Beautiful Disaster‘, Norwegian hard rock outfit Lily Löwe sound more assured, more dangerous, and more emotionally exposed than ever before.
“It’s all killer, no filler,” the band states bluntly – and it’s not just talk.
Each track on ‘Beautiful Disaster‘ reveals a different facet of Lily Löwe’s identity, balancing raw aggression with melodic instinct and emotional vulnerability.
The album thrives on contrast:
power and fragility, darkness and release, control and collapse.
As the band puts it, they wanted to create “a real experience” – that moment when music doesn’t just play, but hits.
At its core, ‘Beautiful Disaster‘ is an exploration of chaos and contradiction.
Heavy riffs and punchy hooks collide with dark atmospheres and modern production, while Lily’s commanding vocals pull the listener through stories rooted in real emotions, heightened into dramatic, almost cinematic form.
Themes of desire, power, self-destruction, and transformation run through the record, giving it a narrative arc that feels both intimate and explosive.
The singles released throughout 2025 offered a revealing glimpse into that spectrum.
‘Demons‘ dives headfirst into revenge and emotional reckoning, driven by pounding drums and sharp-edged guitars, while ‘Haunted House‘ turns inward, using the image of a haunted building as a metaphor for a mind under siege.
It’s dark, bass-heavy, and deeply cathartic.
‘Puppet Master‘ calls out manipulation and toxic control with biting riffs and an unapologetic vocal performance, whereas ‘Beg For Your Life‘ pushes the band to their heaviest extreme – dirty, off-center, and intentionally unpolished.
The album’s title track, ‘Beautiful Disaster‘, slows things down just enough to let the emotion bleed through.
A dark rock ballad about losing reminders in a toxic relationship, it lulls the listener before delivering an unexpectedly infectious final hook.
On the other end of the spectrum, ‘Glitter & Gore‘ is loud, punky, and playful – a glam-rock riot with attitude and a knowing wink.
‘Wild‘ explodes with pure freedom and rebellion, built for the stage, while ‘Our Secret‘ brings a deceptively upbeat energy that refuses to be underestimated.
Closing the record, ‘Love Like This‘ delivers a powerful, lingering finale – a classic power ballad that stays with you long after the last note fades.
Lily Löwe’s journey has always been slightly unconventional.
The project first caught national attention when Lily launched it live on Norwegian television during Melodi Grand Prix 2022 with the single ‘Bad Baby‘.
The debut album ‘LÖWE‘, produced by Trond Holter, followed later that year and was met with strong praise – including a 9/10 rating from Nettavisen and acclaim from Norway Rock Magazine for Lily’s powerful, attitude-filled voice.
Behind the scenes, ‘Beautiful Disaster‘ marks a deeper evolution into a full-fledged band.
What began as Lily’s vision has grown into a collaborative force featuring some of the Norwegian scene’s most seasoned players:
Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn) and Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers) on guitars, Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed) on bass, and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion) on drums.
Even fate seems to have played its part – Lily and Adrian later discovered they had unknowingly stood side by side at a 2019 concert, years before forming the band.
The songwriting process remains rooted in emotion first.
Lily typically begins with demos, hooks, and lyrical ideas, before the band shapes them together into fully realized songs.
While Lily is the main songwriter on this album, the end result is unmistakably collective – every track refined by shared instincts and chemistry.
With ‘Beautiful Disaster‘ set for release in early 2026, Lily Löwe are no longer just a promising name from Norway’s melodic hard rock scene.
They are a band in full command of their sound – modern yet rooted in classic hard rock, heavy yet melodic, fierce yet vulnerable.
Or, as their name suggests:
a lion’s roar, with both bite and beauty.
