Cyprus-based modern metal outfit GUILTERA continue their upward trajectory with the release of their new single ‘Far Away‘, offering another striking preview of their forthcoming album ‘They‘, due out in 2026.
The track underlines a band in the midst of transformation – sharpening its edge while holding firmly onto the emotional core that has defined its sound from the outset.
Formed in 2024, Guiltera have quickly established themselves as a force within the modern metal landscape.
Their music thrives on contrast:
crushing heaviness balanced by melody, aggression offset by vulnerability.
Drawing from progressive rock, industrial textures, nu metal grit and metalcore intensity, the band crafts songs that feel both raw and cinematic – immediate in impact, yet layered in detail.
The group first turned heads with their debut single ‘Ecstasy‘, which surpassed 50,000 streams on Spotify and climbed to #2 on Spotify’s New Metal Tracks playlist.
That momentum carried over into their debut album ‘Us‘, a release rooted in melodic rock but framed with modern metal dynamics, combining powerful riffs, emotional depth and widescreen atmospheres.
With ‘They‘, Guiltera are pushing further into darker territory.
‘Far Away‘ signals this shift clearly, introducing a heavier and more confrontational sound marked by sharper guitar work, complex rhythmic patterns and the increased presence of extreme vocals.
Rather than abandoning their melodic instincts, the band weaves them into a more aggressive framework, creating tension between beauty and brutality.
At the heart of Guiltera’s sound is a tight-knit four-piece lineup:
Vikki Arkharova on vocals, Alex Logvinov on guitar, Sergei Kovalev on bass and Viacheslav Karaganov behind the drums.
Together, they form a unit that thrives on precision, intensity and emotional resonance.
As work on ‘They‘ continues, Guiltera appear poised to take a significant step forward – not just refining what they’ve already achieved, but boldly expanding the boundaries of their modern metal identity.
‘Far Away‘ doesn’t just point toward the future;
it makes it impossible to ignore.
