“Crooked Revival play what they describe as ‘Brutal Blues’ and as such they are at the much rockier end of the blues spectrum; they have a singer with a voice both soulful and powerful (often within the space of the same song) and big choruses underpinned by massive riffs and luscious keys. For an opening band they have a strong enough sound and delivery to pull a sizeable crowd away from the bar and the merch stand, by doing what every opener should do, and playing like they’re the headliner. By the close of their set more and more have joined the burgeoning crowd to witness Crooked Revival deliver an emphatic and impressive start to the day.”
Leeds UK based 5-piece Crooked Revival released their first new material (‘Moth To Dying Flame’) since 2022.
The band has also recently added new guitarist Christopher Dixon to the line up, who for sure will add some colour to the bands label of ‘Brutal Blues’.
Born in the wake of the pandemic, Crooked Revival are a band whose influences span the decades.
With driving rhythms and powerful vocals there’s a familiarity to which everyone can relate.
Crooked Revival bring their own brand of ‘Brutal Blues’ from Leeds, England.
Their music is riff heavy with hints of blues, heavy rock and soaring melodic vocals all thrown into the mix.
Crooked Revival released their debut single ‘Sacrifice‘ in 2021 to some fantastic reviews.
Hitting the road to support their single release, the band played a vast array of shows including dates with Cam Cole , Florence Black, Kira Mac & REEF along with being invited to play main stage at Rock and Blues Custom Show.
In October 2022, Crooked Revival released their debut EP ‘BACK TO FREEDOM’ with 3 brand new tracks.
The EP received extremely positive reviews as well as radio plays from Hard Rock Hell Radio, Voodoo Radio and Total Rock.
