The Finnish Folk/Black Metal band Metsän Alttari is set to release their self-titled debut album on November 28th 2024 via Inverse Records.
A first and only single ‘Rautaa, Tulta Ja Jäätä‘ has already been released.
The debut album consists of seven songs with themes ranging from heroic to gloomy and blissful.
Most of the songs are made between 2023-2024 but some of the material is much older and has been refined afterwards.
The songs have nuances of folk music spiced with the darkness of black metal and the grandeur of power metal.
They also contain beautiful melodies, evil riffs, growls, epic choruses and poetic Finnish lyrics.
