“…The verses pack in speed with some classic metal sounding elements in the guitars, while the chorus soars above it all taking on a more melodic personality. This is a huge release”

Welsh post-hardcore newcomers Bless Your Dead waste no time building momentum.
Just weeks after the impact of their debut single ‘Everyone’s A Target‘, the band return with ‘Slave To The Decay‘, a fierce and uncompromising follow-up that pushes their sound into even heavier territory.
Fueled by urgency and unrest, ‘Slave To The Decay‘ captures the tension of a world on edge.
It’s a track that doesn’t hold back – channeling frustration, disillusionment, and raw energy into a high-impact statement.
Musically, the band strike a compelling balance:
melodic, almost reflective verses give way to a crushing, explosive chorus, blending early 2000s nu-metal nostalgia with the sharp precision of modern metalcore.
There’s a sense of intent behind the chaos.
Bless Your Dead aren’t simply revisiting familiar territory;
they’re reshaping it, injecting their own identity into a sound that feels both recognizable and refreshingly immediate.
It’s aggressive, but controlled – emotional, yet unfiltered.
With more material lined up throughout 2026, the band are clearly setting their sights on something bigger.
And the timing couldn’t be more fitting.
‘Slave To The Decay‘ arrives just ahead of their live debut at Noizzefest in Cardiff, marking the first real test of their growing reputation on stage.
Further adding to their rapid rise, the band have also been tapped to support Hacktivist at their upcoming headline show in Bridgend this May – an early milestone that signals just how quickly Bless Your Dead are making their presence felt.
