Anomic is a thrash/death metal band formed in August 2023, and is based in Amsterdam (NL).
The Band was founded by Dutch/Syrian guitarist and vocalist Raafat ‘Raaf‘ Atasi.
Later on Fadi Massamiri, who is located in Leipzig (D), joined the band as the bassist and second vocalist.
Additionally polish drummer Krzysztof Klingbein, who played live with bands such as Belphegor, Hate, Vader, was hired to record drums for the first EP ‘Opacity‘, which was released in 2024 by Italian label Wormholedeath Records to be distributed digitally world-wide.
In early 2025 Mo Alkemaan joined the band as second guitarist and soon thereafter Robin Boogard joined the fold as the band’s permanent drummer.
Lastly due to logistical issues Wael Idibli, who resides in Amsterdam, was brought in to become the band’s bassist and Fadi remains as the band’s growler.
Anomic is preparing for several shows in 2025 and early 2026 to promote the EP and is already recording the new Album, set to be released in late 2025.
