Mad Wet Sea is an heavy rock trio from Kingston, Canada.
Guitarist/singer Loki introduces the band:
“Crowded streets below paint an image of horror; Cities burning, people screaming…the Devil Has Come! And now…we are left with nothing but Ash and Ruin! We are the Norse Gods of Fire, Wind, and Sea; Logi, Kari, and Ægir respectively, and we are Mad Wet Sea. I am Logi, I play guitar, sing, and write the music. Kari and Ægir are my brothers and play drums and bass, respectively. We sail the Sea spreading our music to the masses! We are a hard rock/metal band from the Great White North; Kingston, Ontario! Our belief is that rock has gotten too commercialized, too polished, and too generic. We want to bring the raw grittiness of heavy rock music back!”
On August the 20th the Canadians will release their new single ‘Ash And Ruin‘.

“Building on the success of Devil Has Come, we are sending out our newest song, ‘Ash and Ruin’. We’ve never considered ourselves a political band, but with all of the unrest in the world, it has found its way into our music. This story embodies the fight of a people crushed by injustice and relentless vengeance of a broken world that refuses to forgive. In a world once ruled by justice and prosperity, all that remains is a crumbling nation haunted by tyranny and decay. The land is broken and under the grip of an oppressive regime where the weak are crushed, the streets are deserted, and the cries of rebellion are drowned by oppressive silence. It’s a tale of resistance, sacrifice, and the unforgiving consequences of defying an unyielding, vengeful force. As cities burn, and the skies turn black with smoke and despair; the last flickers of hope fade, leaving nothing but Ash and Ruin.”
‘Ash And Ruin‘ was recorded, mixed, and mastered all in Ægir’s Keep, and once again released by MX-Pro Records.
