ANDREA DE LUCA
has released single
‘Cry For Peace Child’

Internationally renowned blues musician Andrea De Luca is excited to announce the release of ‘Cry for Peace Child‘, a powerful new single.
This song serves as a heartfelt scream against the horrors of war, inspired by a deeply moving podcast episode featuring a war doctor amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
The idea for ‘Cry for Peace Child‘ emerged when Andrea listened to the harrowing account of a mother bringing her two injured children to a hospital, which was running dangerously low on medicine.
One child, suffering from severe injuries, faced amputation without pain relief, all while his mother and brother looked on helplessly.
As Andrea, a father of two young children himself, reflected on this tragic scenario, he felt an overwhelming urge to create a song that would resonate with the pain and suffering caused by war.
He stated,
“Listening to this was unbearable; it happens every second in conflicts around the world”;
a sentiment that fueled his commitment to using music as a platform for change.
Andrea not only authored the song but also produced it, recording every instrument himself except for the drums, which were played by his talented friend Luca Trolli.
This collaboration brings together Andrea’s unique blues style and emotional depth, creating a poignant musical experience that challenges listeners to confront the realities of war.
Andrea is thrilled to share that alongside the release of ‘Cry for Peace Child‘, he has also directed and produced the official music video for the single.
This video uniquely utilizes copyright-free images and AI-generated visuals of children affected by war, reflecting Andrea’s commitment to respect the dignity of those suffering from conflict.
He deliberately chose not to use real images as a profound gesture of respect for the victims of war and their families.
The visual narrative aims to evoke empathy and awareness without exploiting the real-life tragedies that occur in war zones.
By employing AI-generated content, Andrea seeks to create a poignant representation of the innocent lives impacted by violence, while ensuring that the imagery does not contribute to further trauma for those already suffering.
With ‘Cry for Peace Child‘, Andrea De Luca not only amplifies his message through music but also through a thoughtfully crafted visual experience that challenges viewers to confront the harsh realities of war.
This project stands as a testament to his dedication to using art as a vehicle for change and compassion.
