STAY SAFE are a highly infectious emerging pop-punk band blessed with an arsenal of chunky riffs and contagious choruses.
The hotly-tipped UK easycore quintet will unveil their mega catchy new single and video, ‘Next To Me’, which lands on Friday 21st July.
Hailing from Leeds and Bolton, STAY SAFE were formed over two years as an antidote to the lockdowns.
With time on their hands and creativity flowing, the passionate five piece soon began to shape a live set and amass an extensive catalogue of prominent earworms to spark the senses.
When the world opened again, STAY SAFE headed on the road with friends, Stray Weather.
Further supports and live shows soon followed with UK pop-punk heroes Slackrr to [spunge], Royals, Autumn Fires, and Carry the Crown, as well as a number of sold-out hometown shows in Manchester.
Besides cultivating an impressive live reputation, STAY SAFE also have a stellar recording output.
To date, the melodic punks have successfully dropped four singles and their debut EP, ‘Power Chords and Nursey Rhymes’.
Their lead single, ‘Goosebumps’, received over 30.000 plays on YouTube, and their follow-up single, ‘Bombshell’, notched up over 35.000 streams.
The EP has already received 60.000 plays on Spotify and counting, and the band have also recently started to pick up the support of BBC Radio One via their Introducing Rock show.
With a range of influences taking from Neck Deep, A Day to Remember, and New Found Glory to Chunk! No, Captain Chunk, STAY SAFE have the perfect blend of uber inviting hooks framed by razor-shape guitar work.
The band’s incoming single, ‘Next To Me’, is a superb example of their qualities.
Guitarist Chris remarks about the track:
“Originally the song was penned by myself, reflecting on the early days of my relationship with my fiancée, and bringing influences from New Found Glory and modern bands like Neck Deep and State Champs. The video was shot in Llandudno, where we all loved going as kids – it was amazing to shoot out on the pier!”
Besides having a killer single on the way, this year also sees STAY SAFE releasing their sophomore EP, and working with producer Alex Copp (As December Falls, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes) and mastering guru, Grant Berry (All Time Low, Hot Milk, Deaf Havana).
Aided with an ever-expanding live schedule, SAFE STAY are poised to break out to the masses.
