MAD WET SEA
a Canadian hard rock/metal band
Mad Wet Sea are a hard rock/metal band from Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Their belief is that rock has gotten too commercialized, too polished, and too generic.
Therefore they want to bring the raw grittiness of heavy rock music back!
“We are the Norse Gods of Fire, Wind, and Sea; Logi, Kari, and Ægir respectively. Logi writes the music, slays guitar and sings. Kari and Ægir pummel the drums and bass, respectively. We sail the Sea spreading our music to the masses! Don’t look back, run as fast as you can, what the shadows hide now…is only your doom!”
Mad Wet Sea recently released the EP ‘the Noise of Thunder’.
This release is a concept EP; when a disagreement breaks, the world falls into chaos, destroying itself, leaving only The Horsemen to come to reclaim the Earth.
Logi:
“The band began when I, Logi, was in a previous band, writing music heavier than what they played. My Brother Ægir convinced me to join forces, and raise the Sea! Since that time, we’ve released two EP’s and two LP’s. We are a hard rock/metal band from the Great White North; Kingston, Ontario! Our belief is that rock has gotten too commercialized, too polished, and too generic. We want to bring the raw grittiness of heavy rock music back!”
Building on the success of their previous singles, ‘The Hunter’ and ‘Death’s Come’, Mad Wet Sea finished their newest trilogy saga EP ‘Hunted’, with the namesake song, ‘Hunted’.
“We’ve fallen like ashes, as death has come to consume. With this final chapter, The Hunter will chase you ’round the moons of Nibia and ’round the Antares Maelstrom and ’round perdition’s flames before he gives you up, while doing the work to ensure Death’s Come, all because you are being Hunted! (Wrath of Khan is an amazing movie!).”
Sonically inspired by modern rock like Shinedown, touching on Megadeth style vocals, and some Zakk Wylde guitar, ‘Hunted’ is chilling, fast, and dark.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered all in Ægir’s Keep, and once again released by MX-Pro Records.
