International power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul‘ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records.
The third single ‘Golden Land‘ Arnaud Menard (Marius Danielsen’s Legend of Valley Doom, Alkemyst) & Noah Edward Simmons (Seven Thorns, Memories of Old, Questbound) on vocals.

“‘Golden Land’ is the third single, featuring the amazing vocals of Noah Edward Simmons and Arnaud Menard. It’s a catchy, easy-to-listen-to song, with both singers delivering great performances, hitting some impressively high notes (as you’d expect with Noah and Arnaud on the track). I wanted to blend a retro, old-school vibe in the intro with simple, catchy guitar rhythms and choruses. I hope listeners enjoy the song’s simplicity and how memorable it is.”

“The second single, ‘Twisted Ferryman’, blends melodic riffs with neoclassical passages, while the lyrics tell the story of embarking on a new journey, sailing forward with the titular ferryman. When it comes to capturing the essence of sailing, no vocalist comes to mind more than Tristan Harders of Terra Atlantica. His voice perfectly complements the song, infusing it with a true nautical vibe. To top it off, Sozos Michael delivers irresistibly catchy choruses, culminating in a stunning a cappella duet between Tristan and Sozos. Don’t miss it!”

International symphonic power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul‘ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records.
The first single/video ‘Into Fantasy‘ has been released.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments:
“I decided to go with ‘Into Fantasy’ as first single because it perfectly captures sound of the whole album. You can hear typical Power Metal rhythm guitars, fast guitar and keyboard solos, catchy choruses but also extraordinary bridge with totally different style and feel. Arnaud Menard and Sozos Michael did amazing job with the vocals. A lot of high-pitched notes in this song. Finally, the drums were recorded by real drummer, which adds a lot to result. If you are looking for something fresh but at the same time with old school Power Metal sound – you will not be disappointed.”

Multinational symphonic power metal band Asterise is set to release their debut album ‘Two Worlds’ on December 2nd 2022 via Finnish record label Inverse Records.
The first single ‘Falling Stars’, which features Jimmy Hedlund (Falconer), Tristan Harders (Terra Atlantica), Arnaud Menard (Marius Danielsen’s Legend of Valley Doom) is released.
The mastermind behind the band Bartlomiej Mezynski comments:
“Asterise is not a typical Power, Speed Metal project. I wanted it to sound different, to take the listener on an emotional trip. Of course it still has fast guitar riffs, high vocals and amazing shred guitar solos – everything thanks to great guest appearances. The idea to have multiple vocalists on the album was heavily inspired by Avantasia. The lyrics on the other hand, by old Stratovarius albums. You will hear a lot of references to albums like Visions, Destiny or The Metal Opera 1&2. With everyone presenting different styles of singing and playing, we were able to create an interesting material that will be stuck in your mind for a long time.”
Asterise is multinational Power Metal ‘opera’ project.
The project started in 2018 when Bartlomiej Mezynski and Dionysis Maniatakos joined forces to create something fresh and new, however which will also refer to the classic bands like Stratovarius, Gamma Ray or Avantasia.
The lyrics are about a person being trapped between two worlds.
Souls being locked between good and bad sides.
It tells a little story about different states of minds.
Showing a journey from being lost, being deceived by own desires, searching for home and finaly reaching the top of the world and fulfilling the destiny.
While listening to the album you will experience great emotional trip thanks to a lot of slow, beautiful orchestra and piano parts.
