Helsinki based 5-piece Death Metal band OvDeth brings their unique touch to the Nordic extreme metal scene.
Since 2016, the band has forged their solid Death Metal rooted music into a recognizable style that conveys a deep and gloomy atmosphere.
From darkness to despair, and ultimately to integrity.
The band voyages boldly into these stands, both on the record and live.
‘Mortal Burden’ showcases Death Metal songs from an epic atmosphere to kick-ass headbanging.
Each piece paints its own world, tells its own story, and adds to the entire four-part EP.
Blasts, grooves, heavy riffs, melodic surprises and slicing growls.
With these, ‘Mortal Burden’ takes it’s audience from the historical battle to the mouth of the demon.

Helsinki based OvDeth’s second single from the upcoming ‘Mortal Burden’ EP is Dark and Melancholic Death Metal.
The song mingles on the frontiers of epicness and craving, where loneliness and megalomania coexist.
‘Saturn Devoured’, along with the previously released single ‘Perished’, crack open some doors to the upcoming EP release, still leaving some corridors unvisited.
‘Mortal Burden’ will be released on the 4th of February.

‘Perished’ is the first single from Helsinki-based death metal band OvDeth‘s upcoming EP.
The track presents maybe the tightest edge of the upcoming release and it features vicious and progressive verses and a driving chorus riding on blast beats and fearless vocals.
Even though the song’s lyrics are ambiguous, they still immerse the listener in pain and despair.
“Change is a painful loss, and without it, one withers.”
