NEXT DEED are announcing the release for new song ‘Broken Regrets‘ featuring the female vocalist Cindy Gomes from the band Fallen Lies.
Through the musical friendship with the members of the band Fallen Lies, the idea came up to create a song with Fallen Lies’ singer Cindy Gomes.
The song ‘Broken Regrets‘ tells the story of two people who had regrets, but have changed and are now each on their own path to fulfill their dreams.
Somehow they find each other again at the end of the song, but the ending is left open.
Founded in 2021 by Sue Scarano (guitars & backing vocals) and Lou Metz (drums), Next Deed is an alternative metal band consisting of five musicians (with Kevin Roy on guitars and backing vocals, Romain Haas on bass and Alain Hertges on vocals).
The hard driving guitar riffs, the elaborate harmonies, the punchy drum beats and the playful samples mixed with the lyrics and Alain’s very powerful and expressive voice define the musical style of this Luxembourgish band.
Next Deed benefits from the musical experience of Sue Scarano and Lou Metz, who with their respective former bands (Elysian Gates, symphonic metal & Vintage Gigolos, rock) have represented Luxembourg on the national and international music scene for several years.
Their first self-produced EP entitled ‘New Beginnings’, mixed and mastered by Maxim Losch of Redville Studio, marked an important first step in the history of Next Deed.
This EP was presented to a sold-out audience at the Rockhal on April 1, 2023.

Cindy’s musical journey began at the age of eight in a children’s choir where she discovered her love of singing.
Over the next 20 years, she honed her skills in various pop and rock cover bands in Germany, gaining recognition for her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence.
In 2021, she returned to Luxembourg and became the lead singer and songwriter for the band Fallen Lies.
Inspired by artists such as Jini Meyer (Die Lärmer) and Shane Greenhall (Those Damn Crows), Cindy brings raw emotion and energy to her performances, captivating audiences and leaving a lasting impression.
Her journey from choir singer to rock frontwoman underlines her dedication to music.
