Mikey Ball & The Company are set to release a powerful live version of their fan-favourite track ‘Bury My Love‘ and ‘Back Again‘, taken from their ‘Live in the Studio‘ session.
This marks the two releases from the special recording, capturing the raw energy and emotion that have made the songs a standout in the band’s live performances.
A staple of their live set, ‘Bury My Love‘ resonated deeply with audiences during the band’s 2023 tour alongside Hearts & Hand Grenades, where it also became a favourite of fellow touring act SoulSwitch.
The song is a heartfelt anthem about overcoming heartbreak and rejection, and this live recording brings a fresh intensity that fans won’t want to miss.
Recorded live at Axe & Trap Studios in Somerset with Ben Turner (Hey Colossus, Part Chimp) at the helm and mastered at Black Bay Studios (Beans on Toast) the tracks showcase the band’s tight musicianship and the electric energy that defines their performances.

The band officially landed on the map with the release of their debut album on October 7, 2022, to a packed hometown crowd in Bournemouth.

MIKEY BALL & THE COMPANY are a highly accomplished UK South coast rock ‘n’ roll band with prominent influences which shift from Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen to Thin Lizzy and The Gaslight Anthem.

The band have now released their powerful new single and video, Runnin’.
Mikey Ball cut his teeth as a captivating solo performer, and as his songwriting craft evolved, so did his sound.
As part of Mikey’s natural progression, he recruited ‘The Company’, aka Chris Collins (Guitar, Backing Vocals), and Dean Hurst (Bass, Backing Vocals), who both joined in 2018.
By 2022, MIKEY BALL & THE COMPANY had a solidified line-up, which also includes Sam Hurst on drums.
Having amassed a wealth of material during the recent pandemic, MIKEY BALL & THE COMPANY dropped their highly absorbing debut album, ‘Through The Night’, in the Autumn of 2022.
Momentum grew as the band unleashed their single ‘The Morning’, which instantly garnered support for its Gaslight Anthem-esque woven guitars and soaring refrain.
Soon after, their follow-up single ‘Burning All Night’ captured the imagination of many, recalling Thin Lizzy’s dueling guitars framed by Mikey’s trademark hazy vocal lines that elevate the track to a whole new level.
Due to the success of the album, MIKEY BALL & THE COMPANY picked up interest from many UK promoters resulting in the four-piece being invited to support everyone from Wicked Smile, Cassidy Paris, Toploader and Geoff Tate to The LA Maybe.
The band more recently wooed audiences at the Call of The Wild Festival where they played alongside Kris Barras Band, Ginger Wildheart and more.

Bournemouth based hard rock band ‘Mikey Ball & The Company’ release the lead single from their much anticipated new album ‘Through The Night’.
‘The Morning’ is inspired by a story of a hidden relationship and how that pulled at the composure of the characters included.
Written during the last of the lockdowns this song took shape quickly and embedded itself well into every show since live music returned.
The track itself captures the youthful energy of infatuation as it drives from restrained verses to the full on chorus.
Mikey, Chris, Dean and Will have been playing together for the last 4 years.
Taking influence from the legendary Bruce Springsteen up to the more current wave of rock bands such as Deaf Havana, the band has a unique sound encompassing everything great about rock and roll.
The band has received a lot of support from the NWOCR scene and has already been confirmed for Call of the Wild Festival next year.
‘The Morning’ is slated for release on 15th July 2022 with the album ‘Through The Night’ to follow in October.
