Engaging Brit Geek rockers MIDLAND RAILWAY will unveil their super magnetic self-titled album on Friday 14th February, 2025.
The melodic rock crew also release their captivating new single and video, ‘Bedroom Analysis‘, on Friday 6th December, 2024.
Brought together by their mutual love of live music, Magic the Gathering tournaments, and LTA local tennis leagues, MIDLAND RAILWAY have crafted a distinctive style and sound of their own.
Their infectious blend of melodic nerd-rock takes influence from a slew of areas from the buzzing guitar vibes of Weezer, to the lyrical mystery of Bright Eyes, and the guile of Jimmy Eat World.
MIDLAND RAILWAY’s songs are inspired by their unique interests and hobbies stemming from such quirky subjects as Pokémon, online football management, and serial killers.
Comprised of Nick (vocals and guitar), Sarah (bass and vocals), Andy (guitar), and Billy (drums), MIDLAND RAILWAY hail from Manchester, England.
Never ones to shy away from extensive live performances, the dynamic four piece have played a barrage of shows throughout the whole of Northern England.
Their recent gig at Manchester Academy 2, and their headline performances on the closing night of the International Pop Overthrow festival at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, underline their growing popularity and increasing fanbase.
Everything is now in place for the band to reveal their engrossing new self-titled album which is loaded with ten killer cuts and multiple candidates for singles.
The next track to be lifted as a single is ‘Bedroom Analysis‘, which is already a mainstay for their electrifying live set.
As well as being a firm fan favourite, the song boasts a contagious refrain and intriguing lyrics based around extreme gaslighting, anxiety and the feeling of losing your mind.
