On the new album ‘Nothing but the Truth’, Rob Matthys takes over the lead guitar role from singer Andy.
This change has allowed both of them to focus more specifically on their respective roles, creating more space and freedom for musical experimentation, which is clearly reflected in the new album.
The songs have become more sophisticated and musically rich.
Each song idea was thoroughly analyzed, perfected, and reassembled by the entire band, resulting in a powerful burst of energy.
The recordings were meticulously handled by producer Rob Viso of Big City Nights Music, while mixing and mastering were completed by Marvin at Tide Studio in London, giving the album its final polish.
“The new songs reveal certain patterns familiar to our songwriting style. However, for this new album, we deliberately broke away from our usual habits and ventured into new schemes. For example, there are songs in 6/8 time, and even some that mix 4/4. As a result, the album is more diverse and engaging for the listener.”
‘Nothing But The Truth’:
“This song is about truth. Everyone wants to know the truth, but in reality, it’s often what we fear the most. We don’t really want to know the truth; instead, we live in a facade that is good enough. Knowing the truth no longer matters because it gets lost in the flood of media in today’s world.”
‘Into The Hollow’:
“The digital world has us firmly in its grip. For some, the digital realm has become the only window to the outside world, and it is far from real! We are trapped in a bubble that only shows us what it wants us to see. Is this a conspiracy theory? No, it’s a harsh tactic by technology companies to make people dependent on the digital industry.”
‘Signs Of Sickness’:
“This song is about signs of illness—an illness that is not always immediately recognizable. For some, a diagnosis may come too late. Therefore, we should take the signs and symptoms seriously before it’s too late.”
King Sable delivers heartfelt and melodic metalcore with credibility.
Hailing from Switzerland, this band excels in crafting catchy songs that linger long after listening.
They navigate seamlessly between loud and soft, hard and sensitive, with powerful guitar riffs and a pounding bass-drum combo that shakes the walls.
