OvDETH releases
new EP 'Mortal Burden'

Helsinki based 5-piece Death Metal band OvDeth brings their unique touch to the Nordic extreme metal scene.
Since 2016, the band has forged their solid Death Metal rooted music into a recognizable style that conveys a deep and gloomy atmosphere.
"From darkness to despair, and ultimately to integrity''.
The band voyages boldly into these stands, both on the record and live.
'Mortal Burden' showcases Death Metal songs from an epic atmosphere
to kick-ass headbanging.
Each piece paints its own world, tells its own story,

PROGENY OF SUN
released a new single/video
'Worthless'

To continue where 'Dark Wanderer' EP left of last year, Progeny of Sun will release two new singles in the beginning half of 2022.
Things are heating up as the new material will sound even more brutal than ever before.
First single 'Worthless' is released today and a stunning music video, directed by Doni Bacox.
The band comments:
"The other day while jamming together, Juha and Joni suddenly came up with a frame of a new song. Jaakko listened the demo and had to impose his own vision in order to take the credit of the whole song. During composing Jaakko managed to combine two separate ideas that weren't originally meant to go together. These ideas merged as one, forming what came out to be perhaps the juiciest track so far. Eventually, after "slight" pressuring, Niko made the vocals and struck gold with them. Even Tuomo was given an opportunity to recompose one part of the bass lines."
Single's drums were recorded by Vesa Viitanen
from Napalm to thy Face Prod.
The track is mixed by Anton Sizikov (Empire Studios).
Mastering is handled by Sebastian Has (Behemoth)
from Sound Division Studio Poland

Composed by
Jaakko Hautamäki &
Joni Kiviniemi

HATE WORLD HERO released 'The Beast Has Awoken' single

Finnish Rovaniemi-based melodic metal band Hate World Hero released a new single 'The Beast Has Awoken' via Inverse Records.
The band comments:
"'The Beast Has Awoken' is about the awakening or waking up of The Beast. The Beast itself can signify anyone or anything, even an object or an experience. In life we face setbacks, doubts and downplay from different directions, but once you find your inner spark and let it burn, it will break all chains and kick-start you on new paths, although others might not always understand. What is The Beast then? That's for you to decide!

'The Beast Has Awoken' is a powerful, fast-paced, and energetic song that rolls on with rising intensity and enormous power. The song's pace, melodicity and massive choruses will no doubt make you bang your heads. 'The Beast Has Awoken' was composed by Hannu Kuoksa with lyrics written by Teemu Huhtala."
Hate World Hero plays powerful, melodic metal with massive choruses
and tasty hooks.
Members of the band are all long-time professionals
in their respective crafts.
Their live shows are energetic, compelling, and professionally organized.

Marco Luponero & The Loud Ones
bring out their softer side on
"Home To You"

"I don't easily write love songs", says Marco Luponero when asked about the lyrics for his new single, "Home To You", which drops on Valentine's Day 2022. "Most of them are about some societal problem, religion, war, whatever... But this time it just happened to feel natural, so I wrote a number that I dedicated to my wife."

So how did Marco come up with the idea for the track?
"I got this simple, clean melody in my head and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I knew I had to create something around it."
To achieve the right feel, Marco took inspiration from bands like D-A-D and The Cult.
"I've always loved it when bands apply western-style twang guitar to hard rock songs. With that in mind, I managed to find the unique sound that we use on the main riff."

"Home To You" is the third single from Marco Luponero & The Loud Ones' debut full-length album Life & Death, which will be released March 4th.

MESENTERY present their apocalyptic end-time vision with the release of angry clubbing Death Metal album “Soulfucker”

After a break of almost ten years, the German Death Metal band MESENTERY has newly formed and is now back in a combative manner, with the new album "Soulfucker" to be released today, on February 11, 2022, via Dr. Music Records.
Driven by frontman and guitarist Marcel Braun, the musicians injected fresh life into their band and produced with Eike O. Freese (Helloween, Alice Cooper, Heaven Shall Burn) ten varied tracks at the legendary Chameleon Recording Studio Hamburg, blending Death Metal, Thrash and other Extreme Metal influences into an explosive mixture.
In the past weeks, it was already possible to get in the mood for this aggressive melange with the three pre-released singles.
The melancholic "The Time Before Death", dealing with the transitoriness and waste of a useless human existence, characterized by blind consumption and a non-existent meaning, has been released first.
The threatening apocalyptic vision "2025" followed as second single, whose lyric video has also been viciously directly produced by English video artist Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art (Judas Priest, Onslaught, Sortout), perfectly reflecting the message of each song with a morbid charm.
At the end of January, the rough driving and energetic track "Inevitable" has been released, showing a world that has sealed its fate without hope for redemption, and in the impressively dystopian music video, the sinister lyrics become a brutal reality.
The clip, produced with the team of VideoProduktionsHaus, presents the collapse of human existence in angrily brute visuals.
Around the center-performing band, various horror scenarios of interpersonal madness play out in an end-time-like morbid setting in numerous honeycomb-like stacked, padded rooms.

MESENTERY present their apocalyptic end-time vision with the release of angry clubbing Death Metal album “Soulfucker”
part ii

Mastermind Marcel Braun, on vocals, guitars and bass, and drummer Eryc Botz have both created an album with "Soulfucker", defined by anger and pain about the misbehavior of society.
This manifests itself, especially in the title theme, which is based on the unsparing biography "Seelenficker", where the author using the pseudonym Natascha traces her relentless, unprettified time on drug-related prostitution and as a crystal meth addict.
Diabolic suspense is built up between hard old-school riffs, brutal grooves and harmonious melody peaks.
The album's lyrics are a warning and depict what is going on in our sick, self-centered and greedy society with full harshness and mercilessness.
"Soulfucker" is a treat for underground Death Metal maniacs with its aggressive attitude, the exciting and drastic title theme as well as socio-critical lyrics, not only instrumentally.

MESENTERY were founded in 1992 by Marcel Braun and Carsten Pickbrenner and joined shortly after by guitarist Florian Triska, bass player Boris Stellmann and shouter Christian Busch.
In the year 2000, after three demos, the debut album "Blood Rain" was released, as well as later the EPs "Slaves" and "Bound Windows" via Low Records.
Together they played numerous shows and toured with the Chilean Death Thrash underground cult band Undercroft.
After the tragic death of ist Boris Stellmann in 2014, the friends initially put the band on hold and devoted themselves to other projects.
But over the years, MESENTERY were not out of the bandleader's mind and so he awoke his formation from the icy, deep sleep two years ago.
Initially, he continued developing the sound on his own and created the new Death Metal album "Soulfucker" quite single-handedly.
In the meantime, he convinced his old bandmates Florian Triska and Carsten Pickbrenner to bring MESENTERY back on stage with a full line-up.
The ten songs with their mixture of Death Metal, Thrash as well as other Extreme Metal influences literally scream for their baptism of fire in the clubs.

THE SILENT WEDDING
new album 'Ego Path'
is out

"Nothing happens, if it is not the right time to happen"
That said, The Silent Wedding a few months ago announced their new release entitled Ego Path and gave us a first sample, with the releases of the tracks Time of Darkness & Caught in the Web!
Ego Path, has an ambiguous meaning– "selfishness" on one side and the journey of inner search and introspection on the other – it includes 12 tremendously great singles.
The first track of the album, carries the identity of Silent Wedding, constitutes the link between the band’s previous album "Enigma Eternal", connects the past with the present and continues the tradition that makes this band so special.
Eternal dipoles - darkness and light, ostrichism and denial of responsibilities, deliberate avoidance or ignorance of conditions as they exist - just as they are given on the cover of the album.
Heavy Metal, with melodic, progressive and power elements, everything is ready to unfold. Intensity and loud guitars, melodic lines, lyricism and flow.
Personal sound that stays relevant and consistent and identifies exactly who they are.
Direct and sincere, without exaggerations and tricks Ego Path is here to protect the band-listener dynamic.
The deeper questions seem to be unavoidable and everything is focused around the journey for introspection.
