Factor 8 was created in 2009 in Bydgoszcz on the initiative of Bartek Wojciechowski (vocals) Mariusz Lemański (guitar) and Łukasz Reksa (guitar).
The band’s music is a combination of melodic progressive rock with modern heavy metal.
In 2016, the first album was released by The Valkyries, which was very well received by critics.
Promoting material from debut album, the band performed on stage alongside artists such as Kat and Roman Kostrzewski, Turbo, Non Iron, Ira, Kaliber 44, Organek, Mrozu, Cugowski and others.
Currently there is a team in the process of creating material for the next album, and also performs with this line-up.
