Deny was formed 1995 in Töreboda by the youths Tobbe (guitar), Johan (vocals), Björkman (guitar), Lalle (drums) and David (bass) and with this setting, the band recorded a demo tape titled ‘?’.
Over the years several members have come and left.
Lalle and David quit the band and were replaced by Arvid and Klasson.
1997 Deny recorded their first album ‘Fucked’ which was released 1998.
Some time passed, and Klasson and Björkman quit the band and were replaced with Jonsson (guitar) and Kjellman (bass).
1999 the band entered the studio and recorded a 10″ split with ‘Uncontrollable Urge’.
The album was titled ‘I Hate Jesus’.
With this lineup Deny hit the studio once again after about a year which resulted in an unreleased recording called ‘F.I.G.H.T’.
Kjellman moved and was replaced with Bjurre from Asta Kask, Slaveriet.
Johan left for his other band Frost and Dahl from Wofbrigade joined as a vocalist…
In the beginning of the 21st century Deny recorded the EP ‘Out of Tears’ which never was released.
The last member change was when Dahl left town and was replaced with Emma.
Unfortunately, Deny were not motivated anymore and decided to stop playing.
In the end of 2016 Johan (original vocalist) contacted the former band members and decided to start play again.
The new setting is from this day Johan (vocals), Tobbe and Jonsson (guitars), Arvid (drums) and Martin (bass).
With newborn energy and inspiration of creating hardcore/punk/crust they released the mini album ‘Parasite Paradise’ which they followed up with a 3 track EP ‘Past Parasites’, the EP contained old songs re-recorded, and with former band members as guest artists.
They got great reviews made some great shows around EU and decided to enter the studio again in 2019 and recorded the next album ‘Dystopia’, which were released in 2020.
After this release they made some split-Eps and released some tracks on various compilations and such.
In 2023 Deny released their highly acclaimed album ‘Wildfire’ and made a headline tour in Mexico in May 2024…
