Sweden’s Awake The Dreamer released single ‘Save You‘ via Arising Empire.
‘Save You‘ is a raw and cathartic song confronting betrayal and disillusionment.
With a renewed edge and emotional weight, the track explores the aftermath of broken trust and the clarity that follows.
It’s a fierce statement from a band stepping forward with purpose, ready to close old chapters and carve new paths.
Awake The Dreamer are deep into work on their third album, with Max promising
“the most groundbreaking and unique material ATD has ever produced.”
They’re staying true to what made them who they are while pushing into new territory.
Earlier on in 2025 they released single ‘Years Begin to Fade‘ via Arising Empire.
The track marks the band’s first new material since their last album ‘Holocene‘.
‘Years Begin to Fade‘ introduces the band’s refreshed line-up and offers a thoughtful reflection on time, memory, and the need to heal and move forward.
It’s a strong step into the next chapter for a band that continues to evolve and connect with listeners on a deeper level.
The history of Awake The Dreamer leads us back to 2015, when the Stockholm based Melodic Post-Hardcore/Metalcore act was formed by childhood- and high school friends.
Since dropping their EP ‘Grow‘ in 2016 the band been seen touring all across Europe and Asia alongside bands like Ice Nine Kills, Northlane, Adept and Crystal Lake to name a few.
In September 2019 the band dropped their debut album ‘Damaged Souls‘ via Arising Empire.
A 10-track introduction to hardhitting melodic Post-Hardcore/Metalcore, which also included features by Adept’s Robert Ljung in ‘Vigilant‘ and Crystal Lake’s Ryo Kinoshita in ‘Atmosphere‘.
In the year 2024 the Swedes released their second full-length album ‘Holocene‘.
