The band is led by the one and only virtuoso Angelos Perlepes, who makes the guitar talk and seduces us with his unique songs.
They have been traveling us through their music since 1986 in Greece and Europe.

Angelo Perlepes, gave us an exclusive interview and talked to Radio Highway Pirates, about the band, the inactivity period of the band and their new plans.
What story connects the band Mystery, with metal until today?
“I don’t remember a story of that kind… 37 years ago. Oh so many years…”
Who was the artist that, inspired you to pursue this special kind of music?
“There were two of them, Jimi Hendrix and J.S.Bach…”
Tell us three songs of yours that have stigmatized you and why?
“I can’t do such a discrimination since my songs are my children.”
With whom artist or band would you like to coexist on stage and you haven’t done it yet?
“With the before mentioned ones but they’re dead, aren’t they?”
Do you believe that heavy metal, has cramping its style over the years?
“Absolutely yes!”
What was the reason you distanced yourself from the active music scene for a period?
“The fact that I didn’t get paid and I had to pay instead, in order to record or play live. I didn’t wanted to be part of that ridiculous situation. If the industry had changed it’s orientation so I did. On the other hand, when I try new tracks on stage, the audience was start asking for the old ones, so what’s the point? I just came back from the… pits without any expectation but to create art without compromise of any kind.”
How do you receive the love of your fans, in your live shows?
“By singing along and applauding of course…”
What are your next plans and music stations?
“A scheduled recording is on the programme in the next few weeks which probably lead to our next album release.”
