Genre-bending UK band ACiD CLAW return this month
with their much anticipated second album 'Silly Heart'.
Following on from their debut release 'Horror Comic'
this brand new album starts the next chapter for the sextet.
vocalist David:
'Our debut album "Horror Comic" was created because of a trauma, it was a therapeutic journey for me and ultimately for the rest of the band. It was organised chaos that worked and sparked something new and exciting musically. "Silly Heart" was born by exploring life. The mantra we had adopted with "Horror Comic" that "anything goes" really took shape when writing "Silly Heart". I wanted to push the genre blending as much as possible, to really think outside the box but also keep it interesting and in our style.'
The album saw the band return to The Old Cider Press Studios in Pershore but this time with the addition of new ideas and instruments
to take the album to the next level musically.
The band also recruited their good friend Skinny Pete
to feature on 'Absolution' as a vocalist.
'Ultimately we wanted to make a unique album, who else can say they have a hip hop track followed by death metal one?'
It's this marriage of genres and the inability to pigeonhole the band
by their genre that makes ACiD CLAW one of the most exciting bands
that the UK has to offer.

Each track on this new album albeit different sounding,
all have one thing in common and that's life, positivity,
treating everyone with respect, equality and to always be yourself.
A particular favourite lyric is from the title track "Silly Heart":
"Where's your heart to be heard, where's your strength to be strange?"

“Terran” is the debut album by Canadian metal artist MORGAN REID. Morgan is a guitarist, composer and producer
known for his fierce technical shredding, slamming modern riffs
and his expressive, melodic lead lines.
That being said,
“Terran” is much more than a simple combination of these elements.
It is the summary of the diverse life experiences and interests
that have led Morgan to becoming the all-round artist he is today. Alongside his work as a musician,
including touring the world with his UK-based band Bloodshot Dawn - Morgan has established himself as a professional dancer
and choreographer around Europe, after leaving Canada at the age of 18. He and his wife founded their dance company “Phase-Zero Productions”
in Leipzig, Germany where they have been creating
full evening pieces since 2014.
Morgan has always been interested in what moves people
and aims to find a balance between groovy, catchy
and truly epic elements in his music.
Using literary terminology, we could say that MORGAN REID‘s music
is an èpos of sound – a musical narration of heroic endeavors.
This music demands your attention
and will have you windmilling in short order.
The twelve tracks of “Terran” take us on a journey
to an alternate version of earth,
where we look deeper at what plagues humanity.
Each track has a theme, a story if you will.

'Terran'
The indifference and selfish nature of those in power.
The cyclical passage of time reveals our inner being...but we can’t give in to what is programmed inside.
“Terran” is set to be released on November 25, and it will be available as a jewel case
and on main streaming and digital download platforms.
The artist has been supported by Initiative Musik gGmbH with project funds
from the Federal German Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
Morgan was born in Toronto, Canada on July 12, 1989.
Having started Karate at the age of 4, Morgan has never shied away from a good fight.
He was climbing to the top of multiple guitar competitions throughout the 2010's.
He made it to the top 5 of Per Nilsson's Guitar Messenger Contest in 2013, with none other than Plini.
After about 6 years of playing, he garnered praise for his progressive metal composition "Almost Infamous"
at Guitar Idol 4, in London (2014) - it also happens to be his first live performance
(along with notable guitarists Andre Nieri, Jack Gardener, Luca Montovanelli, Yiannis Papadopoulos).
He soon followed up with his instrumental technical death metal composition "Trust Was A Knife".
Especially written for the JTC solo competition in 2015, it brought him all the way to the top 10.
He soon bridged the gap from Youtube videos, competitions and bedroom guitarist status - to the big stage!
Joining Bloodshot Dawn in the summer of 2015, the UK based, melodic/technical death metal outfit
had big shoes to fill as lead guitarist Benjamin Ellis departed to Scar Symmetry.
His first ever gig with the band was a sweaty one, the aptly named - Incineration Fest in London...
which preceded Morgan's first tour of Japan with the band.
Things were moving fast for Bloodshot Dawn with the release of "Reanimation" in 2018.
The album, written by Morgan Reid and Josh McMorran, took the band around the globe.
Jumping on tours with the likes of Decapitated, Virvum, Fleshgod Apocalyse and Taake
as well as paving the way for some hefty headline tours in Canada, Japan, and across Europe.
The band have also had some massive festival appearances in recent years, such as:
Hellfest, Bloodstock, Hammerfest, and Metaldays.
Beside music, Morgan is also a professional dancer and choreographer.
Having moved to Europe at the age of 18 to enroll in a prestigious dance program,
he has been chasing dreams of being an artist, and making them a reality.

Since 2007 he has worked for multiple dance companies internationally
before finally settling down in Leipzig, Germany in 2014.
Moving to his wife’s hometown and a great place for the pair to establish their own dance company
"Phase-Zero Productions".
They continue to produce and perform full evening dance pieces today
with over 10 productions under their belt.
The approximately hour-long works are often accompanied by live music
but always by pre-composed/produced music written by Morgan.
This work has been integral to his development as a composer and songwriter.
Morgan is deeply interested
in what moves people and aims to find a balance between groove and epic melodic content in his music.
His skills as a dancer, yoga enthusiast and martial artist have helped him develop his own unique,
dynamic style with the instrument through years of practice and research.
Morgan has taken it upon himself to produce his music from the ground up
and has been working in his studio for the past 4 years.
Learning modern metal production, honing his arrangement skills
and developing as a songwriter with something unique to share.
Finally, Morgan is on the brink of releasing his long awaited debut album - TERRAN.
His debut single "A Formless Icon" has been released on July 29th, 2022.
After 15+ years of dedication to the instrument, developing as a modern musician,
touring small venues to performing for massive crowds, diving deep into the lonely realm of music production,

The Rock against Bullying project was born in 2018
from an initiative by Salvo "Ironwill" Dell'Arte:
the band is part of a wide kaleidoscope
in which all artistic forms are involved:
music, photography,
video, comics, illustration and works of art.
IRONWILL ‘s aim is to bring together the best artists
who are able to express, the importance of the themes dealt
with in each phase of the project, through their emotions.
IRONWILL believes that rock music and other forms of art
are the best way to communicate with people,
especially young people and teenagers, the light of the soul
that everyone needs on the evolution path of their lives.
Art is part of life and is the best way
to help us give true meaning to our journey on this Earth.
IRONWILL aims to deal with personal and psychological issues,
offering different points of view into the depths of one's soul,
trying to shine a warm light at the audience.
The first chapter dealt with bullying;
in 2019 IRONWILL recorded the concept album "The Jonathan's Journey".
The second chapter released in 2020/2021, called "Breakout",
is about the evolution of souls;
10 songs (plus an introductory single) linked by the same perspective:
a positive evolution.
In the meantime, IRONWILL are experimenting with a return to blues
with a set of singles in which the crossover between rock and blues allows them to explore the themes musically.
This fascinating exploration is called B2B Back to Blues.
THE PROJECT:
ROCK AGAINST BULLYING
Denver rock band ‘Shady Oaks’ releases their debut album ‘MAD’.
known for their riff-heavy psychedelic brand of garage rock,
the five-piece blends styles of alternative, blues and garage rock
to create a varied sound comparable to the likes of
Black Keys, Jack White and The Dead Weather.
Their 13-track album ‘MAD’ sees the band expand on their sound
offering up a cocktail of tracks ranging
from the grooving blues-infused track of ‘OUT OF TOWN’
to the explosive alt-rock riffs of ‘DAZED’.
‘MAD’ showcases the band’s versatility as they continue
to develop their sound.
Sharing the same name as the album is the lead single ‘MAD’,
a distortion-heavy stomper that exemplifies Shady Oaks sound
backed by pounding drums, roaring guitar solos
and the rugged vocals of Loren Dorland (Vocalist).
Explaining the meaning behind the track the band state
'“MAD' is the feeling of raw emotion when nothing else stands in the way between you and your feelings. You can FEEL the meaning of 'MAD' when listening to this track.”
Shady Oaks was formed in 2021.
Since then the band have continued to hone their sound,
garnering interest from local press and radio outlets along with an extensive flurry of live shows.
With their debut album, ‘MAD’ now released the band looks towards
live shows having been booked for January 21st
at The Fox Theatre, Boulder, supporting The Velveteers
(Tour support of Black Keys & Greta Van Fleet),
along with Moes BBQ in Denver on the 24th February.

'Mad'
Sedate Illusion is a full band of Vangelis Kakarougkas
(ex-member of Kinetic and ex-member of Equal Vector),
Anastasios Kibizis (Guitars), Vangelis Glavinas (Bass),
and Andreas Alamanos (Drums).
It initiated back in 2004, as a project at first
and then it became a full band.
After 5 full-album releases,
the new homonymous album was released on 7th September 2022
The album is split between two EP's, because of the nature of the songs.
The first EP "Time is not the End"
feels more "progressive" style with more upbeat and easy listening songs.
The second EP "Black Untold"
is darker and depressing, conveying a great sense of loneliness
and fear of dying or getting lost in the chaotic abyss
of anxiety and anguish.

Finnish Rioghan is set to release her debut album
'Different Kinds Of Losses' on December 9th 2022 via Inverse Records.
The album has been made in collaboration with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia), Einar Solberg (Leprous), Teemu Liekkala
(ex-Manufacturer’s Pride, Red Eleven) and Teemu Koskela (ex-Celesty).
Started out as a solo-project by singer-poetess Rioghan Darcy,
the progressive metal act Rioghan has grown into a trio
with Teemu Liekkala (guitars, bass, keys, production)
and Valtteri Revonkorpi (drums).
Rooted deeply in both gothic and progressive metal scenes,
they sure should bring something interesting on the table.
The band got some positive international attention
with the debut EP 'Blackened Sky',
and the singles from the upcoming ‘Different Kinds Of Losses’ album
have already got over 250 000 streams.

Left Hand Solution share a doomy, dark, and nostalgic video moment
with their new video for the song "Worn Away,"
which has been released for the first time digitally!
"Worn Away" was recorded and produced by Thomas Hedqvist
at Kitchen Studio in Grönborg, Sundsvall, in June 1996,
but has never been released digitally before.
To celebrate the release of the 25-year edition of the album "Fevered" - including this track, Joakim Mårdstam compiled this deeply nostalgic video from old VHS tapes filmed during the original recordings album "Fevered."
25 years ago, Left Hand Solution's second album, "Fevered,"
got an international release through Nuclear Blast.
Despite Doom metal, was not at its peak and female-fronted Metal
still being seen as a curiosity, it sold an impressive 10000 copies
and lifted the band from the tape trading scene to the larger stages.
To celebrate this groundbreaking release,
the original tapes were remastered and compiled on a double LP,
including one bonus track recorded for the album
but only available on a long-ago sold-out compilation
and three demo versions of album tracks
from the cassette 'The Wounds of Bitterness'.
In total, one hour and 10 minutes of brilliant doom metal.
"Fevered 25 Anniversary Edition" has been released worldwide
on November 25th on a limited transparent orange 2LP Vinyl.
